Forgotten

Forgotten was a game I started for a game design competition hosted by Yoyogames.com a couple of years ago. I never finished the game, but it was a fabulous exercise in the creation and design of an RPG. I planned out and fleshed out the stats and abilities system before coding any of it, and the specialization trees are all interesting.

The inventory and skill tree modules were both logistically and conceptually difficult to design, but it was a very fulfilling experience and I came up with some reusable paradigms for games that I like to employ where they are relevant.
